Funded by the European Commission (CINEA) under the Framework Contract CINEA\/2021\/OP\/0011 \u2013 Lot 2, the project aims to strengthen the resilience and economic development of coastal communities across the European Union. It focuses on providing a comprehensive socio-economic, demographic, and environmental characterisation of these communities, alongside operational recommendations to enhance support mechanisms at EU, national, and regional levels.<\/p>\n
The project activities include the collection and analysis of quantitative and qualitative data, the implementation of targeted case studies, and the development of a strategic Action Plan to foster the resilience of coastal communities, particularly in response to climate change and environmental pressures.<\/p>\n
